Current Definition
Object-oriented design has been heralded as a solution to the problems of software design. Its potential promises are increases in understandability, extensibility, evolvability, reusability, and maintainability of systems. DODEs take advantage of object-oriented design approaches, and extends them by a focus on domain-orientation.
